The School of Computing and Engineering’s (SCE) Dean Kevin Truman was honored to receive for UMKC a FIRST recognition award for UMKC’s substantial support and commitment to the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for the past ten years. UMKC and the SCE have provided space and logistics as well as hundreds of volunteer hours to FIRST events.
